Why this directory exists
Search for a countertop company in Arizona and you get everything that has ever touched a countertop: stone shops, cabinet showrooms, flooring stores, kitchen remodelers, slab yards, a big-box store's lead page and, now and then, a landscape rock yard. They all say "countertops". Only some of them cut stone.
That difference matters when you're the one paying. A shop that templates, cuts and installs its own tops owns the result. A showroom that sells the top and sends the job to a fabricator might do fine work, but you should know there's a third company involved. And a slab yard, which is where a lot of people start, won't install anything at all.
So I built the list I wanted. I took every Arizona business on Google with a countertop or stone category, read each company's own website, and sorted them: the shops that show they fabricate and install, the businesses that sell countertops as part of other work, and the suppliers that sell slabs. Right now that's 474 countertop contractors, 152 of them confirmed fabricators, and 78 slab suppliers on their own pages.
I live in Phoenix and work in digital marketing and technology. I'm not a fabricator and I don't install countertops. This is a reference, not a recommendation.
How listings are made
Every business here started as a public Google Business Profile in Arizona with a countertop or stone category, or countertop work described in its own listing. Closed businesses, big-box stores and businesses outside the trade, such as landscape rock yards, fence suppliers and headstone makers, were removed.
We then read each company's own website. Shops that show they cut and install countertops are marked "Fabricates & installs" and sort first on every city page. Slab yards and distributors that sell stone but do not install it are listed on separate supplier pages, because a supplier is not someone you hire to do the job. Where a website said nothing about a service, the listing says so instead of guessing.
The services on each listing come from the company's own website. Where a site said nothing about a service, the listing says "not enough info" rather than guessing. Ratings and review counts come from Google and were current on 2026-10-05. Listings without a description are kept out of search results until there is something useful to say about them.
What this site does not do
- It does not sell your contact details or pass your request to contractors. There is no quote form.
- It does not sell positions. The order on every page comes from the data.
- It does not vet quality, insurance or licensing. Check the Arizona Registrar of Contractors yourself before you pay a deposit.
- It does not comment on any individual shop's safety practices. The guide to silica and engineered stone explains the issue in general terms.
Corrections and removals
If a listing is wrong, or you want your business removed, tell us. Changes go in at the next rebuild, normally within a week. Owners can also claim a listing to correct details.

No business pays to appear, and a listing is not a recommendation.
